Kingswood

Referred to us through family, Mark and Michelle’s Kingswood renovation became one of the first major projects I completed after moving to Adelaide, and it’s since grown into a friendship, so much so they were at our baby shower on the weekend! The home required a full internal renovation with new windows, doors, and a completely reworked floor plan.

The original house had severe cracking and tired finishes, so this was a major transformation which meant our clients had to vacate for the duration of the build.Partway through the build, Mark and Michelle brought in Bec from Design by B (which is how our realtionship begun too) who produced fast, detailed elevations and selections that helped streamline the construction schedule. Working internally over winter allowed us to keep momentum, and later we incorporated five custom VELUX skylights to flood the home with natural light.

What was once dark, dated and uninviting is now a bright, open entertainer’s home—complete with herringbone floors, custom archways, and a beautifully layered lighting plan that highlights every detail.
